Thank you to everyone who joined us for our recent community gathering! It was an afternoon filled with honest conversations, shared vulnerability, and a refreshing look at what it truly means to be brave.
In this session, we moved away from the cinematic clichés of “heroic” courage. Instead, we explored courage as a practical skill—something that can be practiced and built, much like learning a new language or a musical instrument.
Key Highlights & Discussions
We dove deep into the courage that shows up in our actual lives—at the office, in our homes, and behind our screens. Our discussion focused on four powerful themes:
- The Courage to be Disliked: Sharing authentic opinions, even when they aren’t the popular choice.
- The Courage to Act: Overcoming procrastination and finally hitting “submit” on long-awaited goals.
- The Courage to be Vulnerable: The strength it takes to say, “I’m stuck” or “I need help.”
- The Courage to be Authentic: Learning the power of a “no” to protect your own boundaries and integrity.
Community & Connection
The 2-hour session concluded with an insightful networking hour. It was inspiring to see participants swap stories and realize that they are already doing brave things every single day. We walked away not just with new connections, but with the tools to do even more.
